Irrigated Agricultural/Orchard or Vineyard Leases Offered at Public Auction

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) offers for lease at sealed bid public auction the following leases in Grant County, Washington. For both leases bidders are to propose one of two lease options: Option 1: a 10 year irrigated agriculture lease or; Option 2: a 25 year orchard/vineyard lease.

Lease No. 12-A77930: Containing 151.8 irrigable acres and located in SW4 Section 31, Township 15 North, Range 24 East, W. M. Auction of Lease No. 12-A77930 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 5, 2013.

Lease No. 12-A77931: Containing 159.8 irrigable acres and located in NE4 Section 31,

Township 15 North, Range 24 East, W. M. Auction of Lease No. 12-A77931 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 13, 2013.

For each lease, lessee will be required to provide infrastructure necessary to irrigate the parcel and above ground improvements. See proposed leases for rental terms. Lease covenants may be examined at the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, DNR Southeast Region Office located at 713 Bowers Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926, or the office of the Commissioner of Public Lands, Olympia, WA.
