| August 27, 2013 1:00 PM

ROYAL CITY - Royal Middle School parents will have a chance to meet new teachers and re-acquaint themselves with existing ones at the annual open house on Sept. 3.

Students will do the same tomorrow when classes start for the 2013-14 school year. Two new teachers were added to the staff.

Erin McLeod will be teaching 8th grade language arts. They were previously taught by Amanda Eilers, who took a position at Royal High School.

Nancy White-Hursh will be teaching 6th grade language arts. She is new to the teaching staff but has been working in education for 20 years, most recently as a para-educator at the middle school.

The open house will go from 5-7 p.m.
