Mildred "Milly" Spencer

Mildred "Milly" Spencer was the third daughter of Clarence and Sylvia Hanson formally of Moses Lake, Wa. She passed away on July 19, 2013 in Mc Minnville, Oregon. Mildred married Gene Spencer from Rapid City, So. Dak. In the 50's and had four children from that union. One daughter preceded her in death-La Rita Kay Wood of No. Carolina, also Sally Ann, passed away 9 days after her mother. Sally Ann lived in Clackamas, Oregon. Mildred's remaining children are Melody Dodge, of Spokane, Wa, and a son Kevin who lives in Los Angeles, Ca. She had 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mildred was the beloved and talented Aunt of Joni Smith of Sl Helens, Are. Her 2 sisters Doris Matzen of Moses Lake, Cora Templin of Scapoose, Oregon, one brother Leonard Hanson of Belleview, Wa.

Mildred laughed a lot. She had a sharp wit & great sense of humor-Everyone that knew her loved her and was rewarded with the love she had for everyone in her heart. She cherished her grandchildren-and fought vainly with cancer for over 3 years-she passed away with her family at her side.

Milly loved her lord Jesus-who made a great impact in her life. She was a wonderful cook & homemaker-her home canned fruit and pickles were a delight to everyones palate-

Milly and Gene raised their children in Kennewick, Wa, Placerville, Ca., Spokane, Wa, Mc Minnville, OR and Moses Lake Wa.

She loved people and everyone was welcome in her home. So long "Hillbilly" we will never forget you-till we meet again-! (This hug is for you!)
