MOSES LAKE - For about an hour Saturday night, country singer Pam Tillis had fairgoers dancing in their seats.

She performed on the last day of the Grant County Fair.

Tillis made sure the crowd was constantly swaying, whether she was playing a more upbeat song, or one of her slower ballads.

"We have a small but mighty crowd here," she said. "We're going to play like we're at Carnegie Hall."

Tillis delivered on that promise and had the crowd clapping, moving their arms and feet and even singing along during her set.

She performed a mix of old and new music, including the song "Shake the Sugar Tree," off her third album Homeward Looking Angel.

Tillis performed in Oregon for the Williamette Country Music Festival Friday night, a day before she took the stage at the Grant County Fair. She heads back to the East Coast for a couple of more shows beginning this weekend, according to her website.
