Man drowns in Quincy Lakes

QUINCY — A Grant County man, believed to be about 75, drowned Sunday in Quincy Lakes about seven miles southwest of Quincy.
The man’s name will be released after his family is notified, according to Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones.
The man’s body was recovered by sheriff’s office Search and Rescue divers in the Evergreen Reservoir portion of Quincy Lakes.
Bystanders reportedly heard the man yell for help, but he had disappeared when they reached the water’s edge.
