GEORGE — A Warden woman has been critically injured in a motorcycle wreck Friday west of George.

Patricia Reiber-Murphy, 50, was driving a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle on Silica Road Southwest. Two other motorcyclists ahead of her reportedly went to make a left turn onto Vantage Road and Reiber-Murphy apparently did not notice. She lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle, suffering critical, life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff's office.

She was flown by MedStar to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.

Reiber-Murphy was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
