Level 3 sex offender moves to Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE - The Grant County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday a Level 3 sex registered to live in Moses Lake.
Gary Lee Dominguez, 53, recently moved into the 300 block of East Third Avenue.
Dominguez was convicted for third-degree child rape in 1992 , according to the sheriff's office.
He is described as a white male, 5 feet eleven inches tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He also has a tattoo of a "rose and ribbon" on his upper arm and a "POW" tattoo on his right wrist, according to the sheriff's office.
As a Level 3 sex offender, Dominguez poses a high risk to re-offend.
It is against the law to threaten, intimidate or harass offenders, according to the sheriff's office.
State law authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender when, in the agency's discretion, it will enhance public safety and protection.
The sheriff's office reminds residents Dominguez served the sentence and is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. He is only required to register.
The purpose behind community notification is to reduce the chance of future victimization by better informing the public.
