PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 128.42 acres in order to create three (3) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on July 26, 2013 from Whitaker Family Trust (Designated Contact: Gilbert C. Bailey, Columbia NW Engineering, 249 N. Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-766-1226), was found to be technically complete on July 30, 2013. PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 128.42 acres in order to create three (3) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. Two proposed clustered lots (Lots 1 & 2) are intended for residential use. As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 3.99 acres in size, and contains an existing single-family residence, shop, corrals, tack shed, well, and septic system. Lot 2 will be approximately 2.36 acres in size, and is presently vacant. Lot 3 will be approximately 119.54 acres in size, and is also presently vacant. Lot 3 will continue its present agricultural use, but maintains residential capacity. Lot 3 will also contain the required designated open-space area. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 769 Road N SE, Moses Lake, WA. It is located approximately 2.70 miles southeast of the intersection of Interstate 90 and State Highway 17, and approximately 1.15 miles southwest of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road O SE, and southeast of the intersection of Road N SE and Road Baseline .5 SE, and in the SW quarter of Section 4, Township 18 North, Range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #19-0699-000). ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
