AstaReal Technologies has applied for a State Waste Discharge Permit (SWDP) in accordance

with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-216

Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

AstaReal Technologies presently owns and operates an algae processing facility in Moses Lake

that discharges process wastewater to the Port of Moses Lake Wastewater Treatment Facility with

an average monthly flow limit of 69,004 gallons per day (gpd) and a maximum daily flow limit of

82,805 gpd. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington

State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued.

The Department of Ecology is proposing to issue the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of

its intent. Interested persons are invited to submit their name, address, and comments regarding

this permit to:
