Help 'Burst-the-Bug' for back to school

MOSES LAKE -- Are your kids bugging you to get the newest and coolest school supplies? With back to school just around the corner, many parents are stressed financially about providing the growing list of supplies for their children.

Theresa Wallace, a campus pastor at the Covenant Church of Moses Lake, invites you to help them "Burst-the-Bug" Saturday to alleviate this pressure on local low-income families.

Wallace will park her 1968 Volkswagen Beetle in front of the Moses Lake Walmart 8 a.m. Saturday and will not leave until it is bursting with school supplies. Once the "bug" has burst the school supplies will be delivered to families around Moses Lake, Wallace said in a press release.

You do not need to be part of the church to help do good things. Come down to Walmart Saturday and supply the school children in your community and get them ready for school!
