BBCC hosts 5K, 10K on May 4

MOSES LAKE - Big Bend Community College will host a 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer run for students and the community May 4. The Cinco de Mayo Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. at the DeVries Activities Center, at the intersection of 26th Avenue and Bolling Street.

The public is being invited to participate, said Doug Sly, the college's public relations officer. Cost for non-students is $20 for the 5K and $25 for the 10K, Sly said.

The run is sponsored by the BBCC Triathlon Club and Basin Family Chiropractic, with funds going to the club. People can sign up at the college business office or online at www.signmeup.com/89884.
