The rainbow trout activity on Potholes Reservoir and the Seep Lakes below O'Sullivan Dam has been amazing at times this April. Bank fishers using Powerbait, Pautsker's Eggs, Coon Shrimp and the old fundamental, Night-Crawler with marshmallow have been the best luck for a great catch.

Canal, Heart, and The Windmill Lakes continue to provide good trout action. The Pillar Widgeon Lake's below Soda Lake Dam have produced rainbow to 7.5 lbs. Blythe Lake has produced rainbow to 6lbs this month so far for bank fishers using Powerbait. The only Seep Lake not open is Warden Lake, which opens April 27, 2013. Hutchinson and Shiner Lakes located on the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge remain slow for Perch, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass.

TROUT RELEASE April 13, 2013!
