Moses Lake golf second in Wenatchee

WENATCHEE - The Chiefs girls golf team got back in the swing of things after a week off for spring break with a second place finish in POD match No. 2 at the Wenatchee Golf and Country Club Monday.

The host Panthers took first with a team score of 424. Moses Lake was three strokes off the pace with 427, Eastmont (430) placed third, Davis (520) was fourth, and Eisenhower finished fifth with 540.

Sunnyside's team score was incomplete.

Moses Lake's Terrin Utter carded a 97 and was low round medalist for the match. Megan O'Neill finished seventh overall with a 108, McKayla Chavez was ninth with a 109, Emily Davis shot 113 and Katrina Ulnick finished with a 120.

The Chiefs are back on the links Tuesday when Moses Lake takes to the road to Yakima for POD match No. 3.

The Chiefs play 3 Lakes April 22 in POD 4 competition, and then finish out the month at Apple Tree against Davis April 30 in the teams' fifth POD match of the season.
