This cost not the answer to overcrowding

We can agree there is an overcrowding issue, but not everyone agrees with the proposed $16.6-plus million cost to remedy the problem or the 15-year lien on their property.

The entire estimated cost of $16.6-plus million will be paid by you, the taxpayer, including renters and retired fixed-low-income.

Can you afford a $16 monthly payment (or more) for the next 15-years? That is about what it will cost for a typical 3-bedroom, one bath rental house with attached garage assessed at $90,000.

The district should develop an affordable plan to show the voters, and then ask for the money. Once the 60 percent voter requirement is achieved, not voting is not the same as a no vote.
