MOSES LAKE- Sonico Inc. Vice-President Jim Perdue will serve as vice-president of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA), a group that represents more than 4,200 domestic and international repair stations.

He was elected during an ARSA meeting in Arlington, Va. last month, according to a Sonico press release. This is Perdue's fifth year as an ARSA board member.

The repair station association works with the FAA and legislators to coordinate and promote aviation safety policies, according to the press release.

Sonico has provided aircraft maintenance services in Moses Lake for more than 30 years. As an FAA Part 145 repair station, Sonico has serviced major airlines including Delta, American, Continental, United and Lufthansa.
