Wanapum story topic of Grant County Historical Society lunch

EPHRATA - The past, present and future of the Wanapum people will be the lecture topic at the April luncheon of the Grant County Historical Society.

The luncheon is held after the board meeting of the Grant County Historical Society. The meeting will take place on April 9 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall. It is located at 276 eighth Ave. NW in Ephrata.

Rex Buck Jr., a member of the Wanapum tribe and an employee of the Grant County PUD, will be the main speaker. He will talk about the history and the future of the Wanapum Village.

Lunch will cost $5. Visitors are not required to attend the board meeting.
