PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY FRANKLIN COUNTY

Franklin County is seeking letters of interest (applications) for (1) vacancy on the Franklin County Planning Commission.

The vacancy is located in Planning District #4 (Columbia River West Area). This District is generally located north of the City of Pasco city limits, west of Highway 395 and south of Sagemoor Road. People who live within the Unincorporated Area of Franklin County and within this Planning District are encouraged to apply For assistance the determing if you love within this area, please call the Planning Department at 545-3521.

The Franklin County Planning Commission is a seven (7) member, non-paid, voluntary board that meets once a month in the evenings. The Commission makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on land development applications, ordinance/code updates, and other land use related issues.

To be eligible for consideration, a letter of interest and/or resume and supplemental questionnaire is required to be submitted to the Franklin County Planning and Building Department, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 (545-3521) no later than Friday May 17, 2013 at 5:00 pm.
