| April 3, 2013 6:00 AM

Tony "The Guitar Man" Reino, Sr., 53, of Moses Lake, WA died in his home Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Tony was born March 26, 1960 in San Lucy District, of the Tohono O'odham Nation, Arizona to Antone Reino Sr. and Lupe (Celaya) Reino.

He attended Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, CA where he earned his GED. Tony and his family moved from Gila Bend, AZ to Moses Lake, WA in 1989 where they made their home since. Tony was a very hard worker, especially in labor-intensive landscaping. He loved to play the guitar, have a nice cold beer, meet new people, he met and nurtured so many friendships here and in Arizona. Music was a huge part of his life. He was a comedian; he loved to make people laugh. One of the most important things to Tony was his family; he always made sure his family was well taken care of first. He oftentimes came up with quotes about life, and everybody loved them - his words helped others. Tony was not a religious man, but he was a very spiritual man, and he blessed many people. He was a philosopher, a Medicine Man and he had a great mind. He was very traditional and dedicated to his beliefs. He had the power to lift people's spirits when they were at their lowest; which is evident through his many, many dear friends, he truly was a "healer."

Tony is survived by his dear wife Lupe Celaya-Reino, daughter Nayda Jean Reino, sons Tony "Angelo" Reino Jr. and Ryan Reino, all of Moses Lake, WA; his father Antone Reino Sr. of Gila Bend, AZ, sisters Regina (Jaime) Alvarado of Ephrata, WA, Joann Marcus of Tucson, AZ and Malinda Reino of Gila Bend, AZ, brothers John Reno of Sells, AZ, Austin Reino, Toby Reino, Kurt Reino, all of Gila Bend, AZ and Antone Reino Jr. of Casa Grande, AZ; nieces and nephews Sheena Whiteman, Jaime Alvarado Jr., Carmen Alvarado, Eric Alvarado and Alicia Alvarado, grand-nieces and nephews Elijah Blue, Eva, Cali (Kelly Kelly) and family cat Black Betty and many, many special memories with his close friends and family in Moses Lake and Arizona.
