Audrey F. Schutte

Audrey F. Schutte, 77, a resident of Moses Lake passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Columbia Crest Care and Rehab. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Kayser's Chapel. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapelo.com. Audrey was born in Pierre, South Dakota, daughter of the late Marvin and Emma Erickson. She was raised in Blunt, South Dakota and moved to Casper, Wyoming where she attended college, worked for the state and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. In 1962, Audrey moved to Othello, Washington where she married Leonard Schutte. Audrey settled in Moses Lake in 1986 where she has lived since. She worked many years as a clerk for the East Columbia Basin Irrigation District before retiring.

Audrey was a member of several clubs including Red Hat Society, Toast Mistresses Club, the Lutheran Church in Moses Lake and Othello. She enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, bowling, and theater. She loved spending time with her family and friends and especially her dogs.

Survivors include two sisters, Beulah (Henry) Albrandt, Rapid City, South Dakota and Lorna Albrandt, Grand Junction, Colorado; 3 step sons, Wayne, Kenny and Robert Schutte; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Schutte in 1992, five brothers and one sister.

Audrey will be greatly missed by all who love her.
