BREWSTER - Darren Hodges ran for 207 yards on five carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Quincy Jacks to a 41-0 win over the Brewster Bears Friday, September 21.

Quincy put 20 points on the board in the first quarter and seven in the second to go up 27-0 at the half. The Jacks scored twice in the third quarter of action to increase their lead to 41-0. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter as Quincy cruised to an easy win.

The Jacks ran for a total of 358 yards in the contest, but attempted only three passes, completing all of them for 31 yards. The stingy Quincy defense recorded five sacks, recovered seven fumbles and intercepted nine Brewster passes in the lopsided win.

The win over the Bears improves Quincy to 1-1 in the Caribou Trail League and 1-3 overall. The Jacks are back on the gridiron Friday when the team hosts the Omak Pioneers at 7 p.m.
