Julian Gonzalez

Julian Gonzalez, 21, of Moses Lake died in his home, Friday, September 21, 2012 with his family at his side after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born July 17, 1991 in Waukegan, Illinois to Ignacio Sr. and Monica (Berrera) Gonzalez.

Julian loved basketball, playing video games, spending time with his family. He aspired to become a city police officer for the City of Moses Lake before his diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Throughout his journey he always remained positive, he never complained, he stayed happy even at the worst times...he was a great example to his family and friends.

He is survived by his dear parents, Ignacio Sr. and Monica Gonzalez, brothers Ignacio Gonzalez, Jr., Jose (Noemi) Gonzalez, sister Marisol Gonzalez, nephews Jose Gonzalez, Jr., Aydin Gonzalez and niece Mariah Gonzalez, all of Moses Lake; and many close friends.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the services.
