Barbara Jean (Crawford) Kohn

| September 26, 2012 6:00 AM

On Friday, September 21, 2012, at 5:30 a.m. at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Barbara left us to be with God. This lady is going to be missed terribly by those of us who knew and loved her. Barb's heart gave out after a short acute respiratory illness.

She leaves behind her husband Gary of 52 years, four children; Deborah McCormick of Arlington, WA, Gary Jr. (Marty) of Lexington Park, Maryland, Michael Kohn and Brian Kohn of Spokane, WA; eight Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild; three brothers, Edward Crawford of Prosser, WA, Charles Crawford of Prosser, WA, Donald Crawford of Ephrata, WA; four sisters, Anne Fazendin of Kennewick, WA, Frances Price of Prescott, Arizona, Marilyn Cleveringa of Prosser, WA, Carrie Wanke of Ephrata, WA.

Barb was born in Ellensburg on September 4, 1943 and moved to Prosser at the age of two. She attended Prosser schools until she married Gary on May 27, 1960. Barb and Gary have lived the last 10 years in the vicinity of the O'Sullivan Reservoir in South Grant County.

Barb's chief enjoyments were her family, traveling, slot machines, fishing for kokanee, her cat, camping, and a glass of merlot by the campfire. This lady was definitely one of a kind and a joy and a pleasure to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

God Bless You Barbara, We are all going to miss you and love you forever.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake on Friday September 28th with Holy Rosary prayed at 1:30 p.m. and Mass at 2:00 p.m. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com.
