Soap Lake turns back CCA

SOAP LAKE - Soap Lake won a hard-fourth three set (25-17, 25-11, 26-24) volleyball game against the Cascade Christian Academy on the Eagles home court Tuesday night.

Deonne Ramm led the Soap Lake attack with 11 aces and eight kills. Apsen King added nine aces and Nelly Korneychuk finished with eight kills in the winning effort.

"We got off to a slow start in game one, but gained some momentum and ended up dominating the rest of the game and the second game as well," coach Christian Harvill said. "We got tired in the third game, made some mistakes and CCA was able to take advantage of them but we managed to pull out the win."
