Super Saturday on tap for Republicans

| September 21, 2012 1:00 PM

MOSES LAKE – Grant County Republicans committed to their party's cause are looking forward to this Saturday, Sept. 22, dubbed Super Saturday by the state organization.

According to Grant County Republican Party chairwoman Dani Bolyard, Super Saturday is a call to action. All party members are urged to help with doorbelling and phone calls.

“We have only 50 days until the most important general election of our lifetime,” Bolyard. “We're calling for all hands on deck. It's time to join the adventure.”

The first priority, Bolyard said, is to staff  “victory centers.” The closest one, which supports Congressman Doc Hastings's re-election campaign, is in Tri-Cities.

Republicans who wish to volunteer, may call or text Bolyard at 509-707-3367, or email her at  HYPERLINK "mailto:chair@grantcounty-gop.com"chair@grantcounty-gop.com.

“The other way you can help,” Bolyard said, “is to work with your precinct committee officer to doorbell or call your neighborhood.”

PCOs and their phone numbers are listed on the party's website (http://www.grantcounty-gop.com/).

Since August, 200,000 homes have been called or doorbelled by Republican volunteers across the state, Bolyard said. The goal is to reach 1,000,000 homes before the general election.
