Pheasant hunt slated for youths

MOSES LAKE - Columbia Basin Pheasants Forever will hold a youth upland bird hunt on Saturday, September 22, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The location will be at the pheasant release site, 15 miles southeast of Moses Lake at the junction of Road 3 SE and Road X SE.

Young hunters must have a license and need to bring their own hunter orange, hiking boots and shotgun. Lunch, shells and hunting dogs will be provided by PF volunteers. For more information call Kevin Richards at 760-1863.

This special pheasant and waterfowl youth hunting season is open to hunters less than 16 years old. They must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old.
