Carol Prinzen top golfer Aug. 28

CRESCENT BAR – Carol Prinzen was the top golfer for women's day Aug. 28 at the Crescent Bar Golf Course, shooting 103 for first division low gross.

Patty McNaughton was the low gross winner in the second division with 70. Roe Olsen won low gross and net in the second division with scores of 112 and 72.

McNaughton won long putt in the first division at 10-3. Olsen won in the second division at 12-0.

Closest-to-the-pin winner was Laurie Leahy at 7-4.5 in the second division.

Game of the day, two-woman best ball, was won by Tressa Kleyn and Wendy Smith.

Chip-ins were scored by Leahy on hole No. 3 and No. 6, by Kathy Kneip at No. 4. Carol Prinzen at No. 16 and Eileen Hoene at No. 13.

Betty Mansfield was credited with lowest putts for the month.
