Mavis Bennett triumphs three times in lady golf

CRESCENT BAR – Mavis Bennett was a three-time winner in Crescent Bar Golf Course women's golf on Sept. 4.

Bennett won first division low gross with a round of 104. She also won division low net with 74. And she won game of the day, which was skins.

The second division low gross winner was Elaine Duda with 123. The second division low net winner was Betty Mansfield with78.

The long putt winner in the first division was Wilma DeLeeuw with an effort of 11-2.5. The second division winner, with a putt of 10-11, was Roe Olsen.

Patty McNaughton won first division closest-to-the pin at 24-8. The second division KP winner was Duda with 3-2.

Margaret Linder made a birdie and a chip-in on hole No. 5. Wendy Smith chipped in on No. 8.
