Reader weighs in on election issues

People need to really listen carefully to what is being said by Mitt Romney and read between the lines. Who's really going to benefit from this election? He wants to cut so many financial benefits and wants people to do for themselves. He doesn't want to raise taxes on the rich and accuses Obama of not doing anything. Well, nobody can fix the economy in four years. Other presidents weren't able to do much about our wars or the terrorists involved in 9/11.

As for the Dream Act, Congress had a lot to do with that. We put people in office for the people. They vote our laws. The president is the last signature. Everyone wants to place blame.

What about how much is being spent from the GSA vaccinations? People work and put into Social Security for their retirement. The only people who will be hurting will be the elderly, disabled, underpriveleged, and the middle class.

Obama has helped the people. When they couldn't find a job, they were able to collect unemployment. Students that were here before 16 are going to school and, without a serious record, will be able to establish status here in the United States. Romney wants to build a wall between Mexico and the United States. Why only this race? We accept and help other refugees. With all going on within the Fast and the Furious, there is danger for these Mexicans being sent back.
