Comprehensive Plan Amendments: The City of Moses Lake is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan. The following general changes are proposed:

Comprehensive Plan Amendments: The City of Moses Lake is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan. The following general changes are proposed:

• Update the Transportation Element

• Update the Capital Facilities Element

• Update land use designations within the UGA

The City is also processing the following designation change requests from property owners:

• 2300 W. Broadway: Change back 50' of lot from High Density Residential to General Commercial

• 202-222 E. Hill Ave: Change from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential

• 1549-1556 Bailey Ave: Change from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential

• SW S of Hwy, S26-T19N-R28E: Change from Business & Office Centers to General Commercial

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for all of these proposals on Sept. 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Civic Center, 401 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.

Written comments on the environmental impacts of these proposals will be accepted until Sept. 27, 2012. Written comments on other aspects of these proposals will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or
