Seniors schedule law specialist

| September 9, 2012 6:00 AM

ROYAL CITY - Elder law specialist Bruce Pinkerton, Moses Lake attorney, will be at the Royal City Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 6, to assist Royal Slope Seniors with needed information.

Royal Slope Seniors have made arrangements for Pinkerton to discuss elder law policies that affect all seniors. The program, "Navigating the Path to Elder Care", will start at 1 p.m.

"We are hoping for a good turnout. Everyone is welcome," RSS Sharon Chesterman said.

According to Chesterman, it is the hope of the RSS that they can present programs that will be of interest to community members.

The Royal Slope Seniors meet on the first Thursday of each month for a noon potluck at the Royal City Community Center, 13702 Dodson Road South. Everyone is welcome. If you have any questions, or program suggestions, you may call Chesterman at 346-9482.

Pioneers Bob and Marilyn Fakler will be the Oct. 4 program speakers. They know a lot of the Royal Slope history.

"Marilyn has been coming here longer than Bob. Together I think they'll be very entertaining," Chesterman said.
