MOSES LAKE — A squirrel is the culprit in a power outage affecting 747 homes in Moses Lake and surrounding areas Thursday afternoon.

At 5 p.m., power was restored for all but 205 accounts on Cascade, Gem, Rose and Lakeside streets in Moses Lake, according to Sarah Morford, a Grant County PUD spokesperson.

Power was expected to be restored to that area within three hours, she said.
