Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on August 14, 2012 from Larea Lefler (Designated Contact:  Olivia J. Jennings, Western Pacific Engineering & Survey, 1328 E. Hunter Place, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-765-1023), was found to be technically complete on August 28, 2012.

    Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on August 14, 2012 from Larea Lefler (Designated Contact:  Olivia J. Jennings, Western Pacific Engineering & Survey, 1328 E. Hunter Place, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-765-1023), was found to be technically complete on August 28, 2012.  PROJECT:  A Short Plat of approximately 83.4 acres in order to create three (3) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.  Two proposed clustered lots (Lots 2 & 3) are intended for residential use.  As proposed, Lot 2 will be approximately 1.041 acres in size, and is presently vacant.  Lot 3 will be approximately 1.012 acres in size, and contains an existing single-family residence.  Lot 1 will be approximately 81.366 acres in size, and is also presently vacant.  Lot 1 will continue to be used for agricultural purposes only, and will contain the required designated open-space area.  STUDIES REQUIRED:  None.  LOCATION:  The site address of the subject parcel is 13024 Adams Rd. SW, Royal City, WA.  It is located approximately 5 miles west of Royal City, WA, and southwest of the intersection of State Highway 26 and Adams Road SW, and in the NE quarter of Section 12, Township 16 North, Range 24 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #21-0505-000).  PRESENT ZONING:  Agriculture.  PUBLIC HEARING:  None.  CONSISTENCY STATEMENT:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.  Copies of application materials (File #12-5722) are available from Rick Rettig, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 622.  Office hours:  8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F.  Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on September 21, 2012.  Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile.  All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.  This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
