| October 31, 2012 6:00 AM

MOSES LAKE – Grant County Detectives were making progress Friday but still had no arrests in their investigations of two homicides uncovered in Mattawa and Moses Lake last week.

The Mattawa victim was still not identified as of Friday. The Grant County Sheriff's office believes the body to be of a Hispanic female in her 30s.

The Mattawa victim was discovered south of Mattawa on Tuesday. She had been shot. The body was in such condition that investigators struggled to establish the sex.

According to the GSO, the woman's body was found by a hunter north of a fish and wild life access area, near the 22000 block of Road 26 SW, approximately three miles southwest of the city limits. ?

GSO investigators have identified the Moses Lake murder victim to be Tracy C. Fullbright, 29, of Soap Lake. His body was found Wednesday in a ditch north of Moses Lake. Fullbright, too, had been shot. ?

“Both cases are being handled diligently by Grant County Detectives,” Sheriff Tom Jones. “More information will be released when available.”

Anyone with information about either of these cases is urged to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 509-754-2011 ext. 468, or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous. ?

According to Jones, information received through crimetips email has provided investigators with good leads in both cases.
