Quincy teacher sends thanks

| October 26, 2012 6:00 AM

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to receive the newspaper in our kindergrarten classroom for free! It is such a treat and a special gift to the students when I bring samples and objects into the classroom to help them learn through real world objects and activities that they see outside of the classroom and can then relate to at school. To see the students using the newspapers to find letters of the alphabet, words they know and learn through pictures of what is happening in their community is one of the greatest hands-on experiences I could ever hope to offer them. And through your generous donation and contribution to the classroom, I am able to make that happen.

Thank you for enriching the learning environment of my classroom and thank you for recognizing that even at the earliest of ages (kindergarten) children can learn, explore and grow with all things given to them in their world, especially the newspaper.
