Cougars whip Coyotes
BURBANK - Iris Rodriguez had 10 kills, was 21 of 21 serving with two aces, and Aaliyah Enriquez added eight kills, three aces and six blocks to lead the Cougars to a four set (25-17, 13-25, 25-15, 25-19) road win over Columbia Burbank Thursday.
"This was a match of big momentum swings in the first three sets," coach Dennis Treat said. "The game meant a lot to both teams as the winner will likely emerge as the second place team behind ConnellĀ and will host a first round district match Oct. 30."
Warden is back in action tonight when the Cougars host the Royal Knights at 5:30 p.m.
