MOSES LAKE - The statewide Rental Housing Association is looking to extend its services to property owners and managers in Grant County.

The RHA will hold an introduction meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Porterhouse Steakhouse in Moses Lake.

Property owners and managers in the Moses Lake area are encouraged to come to the meeting.

RHA Executive Director Bill Hinkle said the association is trying to expand its membership to the central and eastern regions of the state.

Hinkle said RHA offers a variety of services to property owners and managers including maintenance tips, tenant screening, landlord education and government advocacy. He said knowing the ins and outs of laws surrounding property management for example, would be beneficial to landlords.

"About 30 percent of our members own an average of one to three buildings," Hinkle said. "RHA services are a benefit."

He said Moses Lake is a good place to try and get more members for the association.

RHA hosts monthly meetings for property owners, managers and investors, Hinkle said.

It's a chance for members to learn how other landlords run their business as well as get information from industry professionals.

Porterhouse Steakhouse is located at 217 N. Elder St.
