Homicide possible in Moses Lake death
A Grant County sheriff's official works his way down Road L Northwest Wednesday afternoon after an alleged homicide was reported in rural Moses Lake. Officers on the right-hand side of the road examine the area where a body was discovered just before noon. Deputies are working to identify the person, and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
MOSES LAKE — Grant County sheriff's officials continue to investigate circumstances around a body found in a ditch Wednesday north of Moses Lake.
A motorist reported the body near the 1200 block of Road 10 Northeast around noon. Officers spent the day on scene. Early evidence suggests homicide, the department said.
No details about the body have been officially released pending more evidence.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning, Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison said.
