NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by Franklin County Fire District #4 (Doug Smith, 601 Stricker Road, Othello, WA 99344) for a Conditional Use Permit, CUP 2012-09.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by Franklin County Fire District #4 (Doug Smith, 601 Stricker Road, Othello, WA 99344) for a Conditional Use Permit, CUP 2012-09.

Said application is to construct a 40’ x 50’ (approximate) truck storage building to be used by Fire District #4 for fire station (emergency vehicles) purposes Fire District #4 plans to store two brush trucks and one pumper truck at this time. An existing building located on the site is proposed to be demolished as part of this application.

The property is located in the Agricultural Production 20 (AP-20) Zoning District.

The subject parcel is described as follows:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The property consists of portion of the northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 14 N, Range 29 E., lying northerly and westerly of the canal less portion in IB 21 and 201.

NON-LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The property is near the northeast interesection of Hendricks Road and Sagehill Road along the east side of Sagehill Road near site address 141 Second Foot Road (Parcel Number 120-270-091).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said application will be considered by the Franklin County Planning Commission. Said consideration will be a public hearing on November 6, 2012 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Franklin County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 and all concerned may appear and present any support for or objections to the application. Written comments are accepted prior to the public hearing and those comments shall be submitted to the Franklin County Planning Department, 1016 North 4th, Pasco, Washington 99301.
