NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Shoreline Hearings Board of Franklin County, Washington an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, SH 2012-01, to perform maintenance dredging at the LD Commodities terminal on the Snake River.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Shoreline Hearings Board of Franklin County, Washington an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, SH 2012-01, to perform maintenance dredging at the LD Commodities terminal on the Snake River. The applicant is LD Commodities, LLC, 5252 Burr Canyon Road, Pasco, WA 99301

To be located on the following described property:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: South Half of Section 8, Township 12 N, Range 34 E, Franklin County, WA.

NON-LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The property located along the Snake River, southwest of Wallace Walker Road along the south side of Burr Canyon Road near site address 5252 Burr Canyon Road (Parcel Number 555-915-858).

NOTICE IS GIVEN that said application will be considered by the Shoreline Hearings Board of Franklin County, Washington. Said consideration will be a public hearing on November 6, 2012 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers, Room 201 of the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA and all concerned may appear and present any support for or objections to the application. Written comments are accepted prior to the public hearing and those comments shall be submitted to the Franklin County Planning Department, 1016 North 4th, Pasco, Washington 99301.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said proposal has been reviewed under the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act, as amended, along with the Environmental Checklist and other information. A determination has been made as to the environmental impacts of the proposal and a Mitigated Declaration of Non-Significance has been issued. Accordingly, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required. This determination was made on October 5, 2012 and comments regarding the determination and the environmental impacts of the proposal must be made to the Franklin County Planning Department. Said comment period will end November 1, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
