Mabton tops Royal booters, 3-1

ROYAL CITY - Micki Williams took only four shots on goal and made three of them to lead Mabton to 3-1 soccer victory over Royal High School last week.

"You can argue we are a better team, as a whole, but we can't top Williams," coach Jens Jensen said. "The matches, home and away, the last two years, she has beat us nearly all by herself."

Royal had no answer for Williams. There were only three shots overall and only two on goal.

Goal tender Flor Aurajo had three saves for the Knights.
