Grant County seeks new Advisory board members

EPHRATA - Grant County is looking for a person to serve a one-year term on the Current Use Advisory Committee.

The committee, established by state law, advises the county assessor on implementing state Department of Revenue guidelines for assessing open space, farms, agricultural and timber lands, according to Grant County.

No compensation is offered for serving on the committee, according to the commissioners. Meetings are held annually in January in the commissioners' hearing room at the Grant County Courthouse. Special meetings are scheduled when needed.

Applications are available at www.grantcountyweb.com in the important announcements section, according to the commissioners. Applications are accepted until Oct. 31.
