Chiefs swim and dive team captures meet

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake girls swim and dive team took first place in a three-team meet hosted by the Chiefs Thursday.

Moses Lake found little resistance from all competitors as the Chiefs beat the Sunnyside Grizzlies 133-42, the Eisenhower Cadets 125-61, and the Davis Pirates 141-39.

The win runs the team record to 7-2 in league action and lands Moses Lake in second place in the conference.

The Chiefs are back in the pool tomorrow when Moses Lake travels to East Wenatchee to compete against the Eastmont Wildcats.
