Irrigated Agricultural/Orchard or Vineyard Leases offered at Public Auction

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) offers for lease at sealed bid public auction the following leases.

Lease No. 12-A74381: Irrigated Agriculture 10 year term. 620 acres lease containing 280

acres irrigated agriculture and 340 acres conservation. Annual rent is $76,706.00. Located in portion of Section 36 Township 19 North, Range 23 East, W. M. Grant County.

Lease No. 12-A74300: Bidder to propose one of two lease options:

Option 1 – 125 acres of irrigated agricultural crops and a ten year lease term or,

Option 2 – a minimum of 135 acres up to 154.1 acres of orchard or vineyard and option for bidders to propose irrigated agriculture as an interim use, with a 25 year lease term. See proposed lease for rental terms for both options. Located in SE4 Section 31, Township 15 North, Range 24 East, W. M. Grant County.

Lease No. 12-088784: Minimum of 150 acres up to 233.7 acres Orchard or Vineyard, as proposed by bidder, 24 year one month term. See proposed lease for rental terms. Located in portion of Section 36 Township 17 North, Range 23 East, W. M. Grant County.

For each lease, lessee will be required to provide infrastructure necessary to irrigate the parcel and aboveground improvements. Lease covenants may be examined at the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, DNR Southeast Region Office located at 713 Bowers Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926, or the office of the Commissioner of Public Lands, Olympia, WA. Sealed bid auctions will be held at the Southeast Region Office on November 15, 2012. Auction of Lease No.12-A74381 will be at 2:00 p. m., auction of Lease No. 12-A74300 will be at 2:30 p. m., and auction of Lease No. 12-088784 will be at 3:00 p. m.
