Notice is hereby given that Grant County will be reviewing a proposal submitted by the Grant County Planning Department to amend the Unified Development Code with regards to procedural changes in ZONING - UDC 23.04 - Delete RVR and add RVR 1 and RVR2 in UDC
23.04.030 (b)(3), 23.04.040 Table 1, 23.04.140 (c); 23.04.400 (f), 23.04.405(a), 23.04.800 (b), Land Use - Table 8, Amend Maximum Residential Density in Rural Residential 2 and Rural Residential 3 zone in UDC 23.04.040 Table 1;Add RVROSC in UDC 23.04.040 Table 1, 23.04.030(b)(3); Add Maximum Dwelling units per acres in Urban Residential 1 zone in UDC 23.04.040 Table 2; Add Term to Discretionary Use in UDC 23.04.060 (b)(8); Amendment to when Site Plan Review is required in UDC 23.04.140 (b); Formatting changes in UDC 23.04.260(c) (d); Delete Flea Market as permitted use in UDC 23.04.500(b); Correct Subnote numbering in UDC Table 3, Table 4, Table 5; Add Flea Market as Land Use in UDC Table 3, Table 4, Table 5; Amend Public Facility - Table 3 - Institutional Uses from (P) prohibited to (A) allowed in Colleges and Technical Schools, Primary and Secondary School/Public and Private; Performance and Use Standards – UDC 23.08 - Delete RVR and add RVR 1 and RVR2 in

UDC 25.02 - Add Definition of Flea Market in UDC 25.02 F. SEPA: Exempt pursuant to WAC 197-11-800 (19) ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: County Wide. ZONING: All zones. Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: The Grant County Planning Commission, 7:00 pm, December 5, 2012 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, located in the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Copies of the application materials (File #12-5729) are available from Dorothy Black, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Ave. NW, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 625; office hours are 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than October 29, 2012 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
