Fern Arlen (Clifton) Falconer

Fern Arlen (Clifton) Falconer, age 79, passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA September 20, 2012. She was born to Van and Dorothy (Pasche) Clifton on December 29, 1932 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the oldest of 6 children. Fern and her family moved from Colorado to Richland, WA. When she was 12 years old she married Gordon Samuel Falconer, on June 2, 1951 in Grandview, WA. They had 4 children and raised them in Moses Lake. Fern was a wonderful wife, homemaker and mother. She was a great seamstress and made most of her children's clothes. We have fond memories of proudly wearing our beautiful one-of-a-kind outfits Momma made for us.

Fern loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was always there when we needed her. She will be greatly missed.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Dorothy Clifton, her husband, Gordon, 1 brother Gerald, 3 sisters, Roberta, Nancy and Belva.

Fern is survived by one brother Harold and Carolyn Clifton, 4 children; Karen and Robert Hempel, Ken and Mary Falconer, Cynthia and James Goble, Darlene and Forest Stansbury, 9 grandchildren; James and Brooke Hempel, Chantel Smith, Amy and Felix Rosas, Michael and Theresa Goble, Jennifer and Jeremy Hernandez, William Hempel, Bradley and Heather Falconer, Justin and Tara Falconer, Jessica Stansbury, and great grandchildren; Mariana, Brianna, Ryan, Vanessa, Tony, Randy, Madeline, Violet, JJ, Tori, Abram, Bailey and Haylee.

There is a memorial set for October 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Christian Center, 318 West Northshore Dr., Moses Lake.
