Andrew Scott Davies

Our son, husband, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and best friend passed away from injuries suffered in a tragic automobile accident on October 4. Andy was born March 8, 1983 the son of Ken and Mary Davies and grew up in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Kirkland where he attended Rose Hill Elementary, Rose Hill Junior High, and Lake Washington High School.

Following in the footsteps begun by his great grandfather Andy's career focused on the produce industry and most recently as a department manager at Safeway of Moses Lake. He was a devoted and gifted musical and youth mentor at New Beginnings Christian Center. Andy was an accomplished beat poet, civil war trivia buff, and absolutely loved all things Husky Football.

Andy was preceded in death by his mother Mary Davies, grandparents Arnie and JoAnne Salkin, Beth Davies, Paul Gilbert and Albert "Steve" Quinn. Andy is survived by his wife Heather and her parents Jeff and Laura McCracken of Ephrata, his parents Ken and Cheryl Davies of Kirkland, and his loving brother and sister Ben and McKenna. Andy also leaves his grandfather Mike Davies and his grandmothers Ila Mae Gilbert and Jackie Quinn, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

All are welcome to attend a memorial to be held at the chapel at Holyrood Cemetery, Thursday October 11th at 1:00 pm. 205 NE 205th Street Shoreline, WA 98155.

A celebration of music and spoken word will be held at Bridle Trails New York Pizza in Kirkland on Saturday, October 13 from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
