Fall patterns have reached the Potholes Recreation Area. On October 3, 2012 our night time low temperatures have been hovering around 40 degrees. With cooling water a new level of catching action has started. Casting or trolling crank baits has been producing good action for fishers.

Our perch action continues to provide some fine dinners and enjoyable active fishing. Medicare Beach, Lind Coulee and the walleye humps off the face of the sand dunes are producing limits of perch over 8 inches long.

The MarDon Fishing Dock continues to show some crappie, perch, blue gill, small-mouth bass and trout but very few walleye.

Get out and enjoy some fishing with friends or family while our nice weather holds up.

In the MarDon Tackle Shop we are offering discounted boat rentals on a full day rental every day except Saturday. Please visit our website for pricing or call MarDon Resort. This offer is good until the end of October.

Looking for something fun to do for Monday Night Football? Come on out to The Beach House at MarDon! We are offering happy hour pricing all evening and open at 4pm-9pm every Monday. Also, Cook's choice dinner specials for only $5.00. For questions or driving directions please call (509) 346-9688.
