Reader encourages support for Baechler

Support Mary Baechler for the US House of Representatives. Mary Baechler believes in fair pay for a day's work; better schools and education support for our children; better and more affordable health care for ALL; better working conditions and more jobs with good wages; fair business regulations that promote good health and good wealth; clean air and water, less pollution and more environmental concern for climate and weather issues; more affordable college education and life-long training; fair trade laws to promote more business; fair and sustainable tax regulations for a healthy nation; equal rights for every person; a fair path to citizenship for all; and fair solutions and compromises to reach the best solutions to all problems.

Contrast Mary Baechler's positions with the votes of Representative Hastings. He votes with his Republican caucus 98 percent of the time to make President Obama a one- term president. And, he has voted against fair pay and safety for women; against a clean, healthy environment by reducing EPA regulations; against comprehensive health care coverage for seniors, children, women, men, existing conditions; against the Jobs Act to fund needed public projects that would create jobs to reduce unemployment; and many other votes to reduce, repeal, and make lives of Americans more precarious.

Representative Hastings has voted over 31 times to repeal ACA, voted to pass the Romney-Ryan budget that would cut $3.2 Trillion dollars from current federal programs in the budget, to balance the budget on the backs of American workers and families, while providing trillions of dollars in additional tax cuts to already wealthy Americans.

Mary Baechler will serve the people of the 4th Congressional District rather than BIG money oil, gas, and coal pockets from outside our state. Her vote is not for sale. Vote for Mary Baechler, Democrat for Congress.
