| October 5, 2012 1:00 PM

TRININDAD - The 7th annual Shellfish Festival will take place at White Heron Cellars on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 1-6 p.m.

It will be celebrated with three types of oysters, mussels, clams, Texas Chili and chef Spencer Peet from Sun Dial Bistro. He makes an award-winning Texas Chili.

Peet will offer Geoduck Ceviche Bruschetta, Deep Fried Oysters, Oysters on the Half Shell (barbecued or raw), Mussel and Clam Boil, Poor Boy Sandwiches, and Texas Chili

Patrick Foster & the Locomotive will bring their indie rock and promise to jam the afternoon away.

“He gets his story across through blues-rock riffs, tender harmonies, New Orleans-influenced tempos, killer slide guitar solos, ace 70s funk keyboards, vibes and strings,” said White Heron proprietor Cameron Fries.

There will be a $10 charge at the door for the musicians. Shellfish will be available for purchase. For more information, you may go to www.whiteheronwine.com.
