Taxi driver robbed at knifepoint

MOSES LAKE - Two men robbed a taxi driver at knifepoint Monday evening.

The victim, a driver for Scabland Taxi, was in the 1300 block of Shaw St. to pick up a fare when two men entered the vehicle and grabbed him around the neck. They held a knife to the side of his head and demanded his wallet, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Shaw St. NE.

Once he gave them the wallet the assailants ran away, according to the report. They were described as a large black male and a skinny Hispanic male. The victim was not injured but was shaken up, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office is seeking people who can help identify the men, according to the sheriff's office.
